WEEKLY REFLECTION ON SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE 2

Weekly reflection from JULY 18 to JULY 22.

This week we only had 4 working days with the public holidays on the 18th Tuesday due to the death of former chief minister Mr. Ummen Chandi sir and the 17th Monday as a cultural holiday. 

he school authorities asked as to conduct an assembly so after coming back from the holidays we were so busy planning the assembly and programme. 

We decided to conduct an assembly on the next day in relation with International Moon Day. Based on that we decided to celebrate the day with some small competitions like poster making, Quiz and letter to moon. We informed the students about the competitions and asked them to come prepared. 

Friday, we came to school thinking about conducting the assembly. But due to some inconveniences, we were not able to do that. We conducted the quiz competition and collected the posters and letters brought by the students. We prepared some charts related to moon day. We presented it on the notice board also. In our free time, we evaluated the posters and letters submitted by the students and decided on the winners. On Saturday the 22nd, we conducted the assembly related to moon day. In that assembly students presented the importance of moon day, moon missions by different countries, etc... There was a prize distribution event also taking place during the assembly. We distributed prizes for the students who win the competitions. In that assembly, the students of the science club presented a miniature model of "Chandhrayaan 3" and received great applause from teachers as well as students.
