WEEKLY REFLECTION ON SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE 1

Weekly reflection from November 2 to November 4.

As per the B.Ed Curriculum, our first school internship programme have been started on November 2, 2022. The school I opted for my internship is GHSS, Kalanjoor.

The school was established in 1914 and is managed by the Department of Education. It is located in a rural area, it is in the Konni block of Pathanamthitta district of Kerala.

The school is co-educational and has numerous classrooms, all in good condition for instructional purposes.

The generous headmistress of the school had approved the eight teachers including me to begin our practise here. The other teachers and non-teaching staff were all very welcoming and supportive. 

We got three days this week to be in school and most of us had classes from the first day onwards. We had given our timetables and portions earlier so that we could go on with classes without interrupting the children. 

The class I was given was IX D. And I occasionally got the chance to visit other classes too.

The first three days went quickly. And I am eagerly waiting for the days yet to come.
