WEEK 4 - BACK TO SCHOOL
WEEKLY REFLECTION ON SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE 1
Weekly reflection from January 4 to January 7.
We resumed our first phase of teaching practice on 4th January 2023 after our short exam break and Christmas vacation. Like we began our teaching practice the first time this was also done under short notice and there sure was much panic.
But unlike the last time, it was excitement that led us.
We came back to school on a Wednesday, met with the principal, and also met our concerned teaches whom we had already informed and clarified the doubt about the portions.
Teachers as well as the students Happy welcome us.
On that day, the school had a special assembly related to the inauguration of Deshabhimani, Aksharamuttam newspaper. An alumnus of the school had also sponsered 10 newspapers to the school.
On the next two days, we had regular classes and I was also able to conduct a diagnostic test and provide remedial teaching based on that.
The Saturday of the week was also a working day, but since the high school teachers were having a training session for the tinkering lab enterprise sponsored by the central government classes 8, 9 & 10 didn't have class that day. But we had to come and engage the upper primary students and also we were also given an opportunity to hear about the tinkering labs programme. And the various grades of NCC cadets from high school and higher secondary classes also had practice and parade on that day.
