WEEK 5 - BACK ON TRACK

WEEK 5 -  BACK ON TRACK

WEEKLY REFLECTION ON SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE 1

Weekly reflection from January 9 to January 13.

There were five working days this week. And with the approaching annual examination season and the beginning of last term with no other programmes or functions, this week was completely focused on academics.

When I look back the only programme that happened as such was the PTA meetings of the U.P. & H.S. sections happened on the last 3 days of the week. Parents were informed earlier about these meetings to discuss student's overall performance in the Christmas examination and other aspects regarding school life. It was scheduled in such a manner (Wednesday - class 7th &10th, Thursday - class 5th &9th, Friday - class 8th & 6th, from 2 pm onwards) for parents convenience, though we were able to see that only a less no.of parents came to the meetings. during the meetings, we were asked to manage the other classes since teachers were attending the meeting. It was hard to handle 2 or 3 classes at once.

Other than that occasion we were not getting many substitutions this time, since teachers had to complete the portions and there are not on other duties, on a mid-day NCC cadets had their training, and Thursday JRC cadets had an exam. There were regular assemblies on Tuesday and Thursday, and students who got A grade on the state youth festival and other quiz programmes were congratulated on these assemblies.
