WEEK 2 - PACKED WITH SUBSTITUTIONS
WEEKLY REFLECTION ON SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE 1
Weekly reflection from November 7 to November 11.
There were five working days this week. And it was much busier than I imagined. Apart from my classes on IX D, I got plenty of substitutions, we were in class for almost 6 to 7 hours. Although it was very tiring, I loved meeting students in the different classes and mingling with them.
Initially, we went to substitution classes together and later alone. We let the children play games, sing songs, draw pictures etc.
In my IX D English class, we continued the lesson 'The Jungle Air Crash'.
We also joined to serve the noon meal on several days and it was such a satisfying job. I also got the opportunity to assist VIIth-standard students in their IT exams.
In the evening intervals and free periods, children practiced for the upcoming sub-district art festival. We also got the opportunity to assist those children and help them.
