Atal Tinkering Lab" Atal Tinkering Lab is a central government school initiative to modernize India by inculcating scientific spirit and creativity in students and making them skilled and technologists for the 21st century. Atal Tinkering Lab is a working space where students of classes 6 to 10 integrate science and technology and make inventions through games. Atal Tinkering Lab consists of science, electronics & robotics kits with self-powered learning devices and independent microcontroller boards, sensors, 3D printers and computers. Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) has been established by the Government of India through NITI Aayog with the aim of producing one million scientists by 2020. They are the ones who implement Tinkering Labs. These labs are known as Atal Tinkering Labs in honor of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Bajpayee.
